The Ministry of Transport, Information, and Communication Technology (MTICT) is set to launch Project 525 in Oman, guided by the strategic cooperation and supervision of Cisco Oman. Project 525 offers two options:
Project 525 is a strategic collaboration between NIL Africa and Cisco Learning. Participants gain access to world-class training and resources, equipping them with the advanced skills and expertise required to excel in the CCNP/CCIE exams—a pivotal milestone in their career journey.
The 525 CCNP/CCIE programs are offered exclusively in the region through NIL Middle East®, with NIL Africa overseeing the complete delivery and deployment of the initiative.
This ensures a seamless and high-quality learning experience tailored to the needs of the region’s ICT professionals. Project 525 was launched in GCC: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration between Cisco & King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (Academy 32). Number of participants till date is 32 engineers from multiple government entities. The program was also launched in Qatar with 5 participants from Ministry of Commerce.

MTCIT 525 Project Initiative: Empowering Oman’s ICT Sector The 525 Project, selected by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), aims to empower Oman’s ICT sector by cultivating a new generation of CCNP/CCIE-certified engineers across various networking tracks. This initiative also strongly supports Omanization, aligning with national goals by promoting the highest standards of professional certification in the networking industry.
